    Aktes RAL-LvO 1757, 88v: Op 30 augustus 1715 verkocht Hendricus Grouwels, inwoner van Meerssen en gehuwd met Maria Canisius, aan zijn neef Servaes Corten, voor wie zijn zoon Servatius Corten, kapelaan, optrad, de erfgoederen die hem via zijn vrouw van de heeromen Melchior en Servatius Canisius waren toegevallen, "met expresse conditie" dat de koper in hun plaats het kindsdeel van Michael Canisius met Servaes Canisius, zwager van Hendrick Grouwels, mocht delen. De goederen, waaronder een huis, waren gelegen nabij Hellebroek onder Nuth, Hoensbroek en Wijnandsrade. De koopsom bedroeg 2120 gulden waarvan 1000 gulden binnen twee jaar nabetaald zouden worden. Op 22 oktober 1718 werd de betaling van 1000 gulden vastgelegd: RAL-LvO 1757, 118v

    RAL-LvO 1757, 90r: Op 9 december 1715 werd een akte van borgstelling opgesteld door Servaes Corten, weduwnaar Elisabeth Nuchelmans, en zijn zonen Servatius, kapelaan te Nuth, en Peter Corten, mede handelend voor hun zuster Elisabeth en hun afwezige broer Joannes Corten. De borgstelling was nodig vanwege het collecteurschap van Servaes Corten. Tot onderpand werden huis, hof, moestuin en weide in Hellebroek en nog ca. vijf bunders andere landerijen gesteld. Uitgezonderd werden dat deel van het huis en de goederen die hij onlangs van Hendrik Greuls gekocht had, omdat die nog onder het recht van naasting vielen.

    RAL-LvO 1757, 119v: Op 4 maart 1720 verklaarde Servaes Corten, weduwnaar Elisabeth Nuchelmans, dat zijn zoon Peter Corten, gehuwd met Cornelia Kerckhoffs, de 2120 gulden had geleverd waarmee hij in 1715 de goederen van Hendrick Greuls had verworven. Hij droeg dan ook al zijn rechten op deze goederen over aan zijn zoon.
