      Eigenaren en pachters van De Herberg Nieuw Ubbena 1819-1870 Johannes Homan Andere bewoners rond die tijd in buurtschap Nieuw Ubbena of in het huis als knecht.: In het jaar 1768 werd te Roden geboren Jan Roels Brink die schaapsherder te Peest was en in 1794 trouwde te Norg met Altien Berends Bezema. Uit dit huwelijk werden zeven kinderen geboren, allen te Peest. Jan Roels Brink en zijn gezin moeten tussen de jaren 1829 en 1831 naar Nieuw Ubbena zijn verhuist, hij werd aldaar landbouwer. In het jaar 1831 trouwde Berend Jans Brink met Gretien Boerema van Assen. Tijdens de huwelijksvoltrekking te Vries riep Berend Jans Brink zijn vader vol trots uit dat zij de familienaam van Brink hebben aangenomen en dat zij te Nieuw Ubbena woonden, dit volgens de huwelijksakte. Het jonge paar ging nadien boeren te Tynaarlo. Antien Berend Bezema is 23 Juli 1840 te Nieuw Ubbena overleden en haar echtgenoot Jan Roels Brink drie dagen later. 1870-1877 Is Wietze van Kregten van beroep blaauwverver wonende te Assen eigenaar van het huis Nieuw Ubbena. 1877-1900 Wietze van Kregten verkoopt het huis in 1877 aan de familie Van Rooyen, Geertruida Wilhelmina Adriana, weduwe van Jona Peter Tresling en Elisabeth van Rooyen, weduwe van H. van Rooyen wonende te Groningen
